Ambient temperature at start of placement 88 degrees Fahrenheit rising to 93 degrees Fahrenheit at 14:00. Concrete temperature at the point of placement measured between 84 and 89 degrees Fahrenheit across nine trucks. Calculated evaporation rate reached 0.21 pounds per square foot per hour between 12:30 and 14:15. A written hot weather placement plan dated six business days before placement was on site and was followed, including fogging and immediate application of curing.

Slump measured at the point of placement ranged from 4.5 to 5.75 inches, within the specified 5 inches plus or minus 1 inch. Six cylinder sets cast. Seven day breaks averaged 3,910 psi. Twenty eight day breaks averaged 5,640 psi against the specified 5,000 psi minimum. No deficiencies noted.
